Historic Bath pub, The Bear Inn is reopening its doors on Friday 11th March following an extensive refurbishment. Located in the Bear Flat neighbourhood, a short distance from the city centre, The Bear Inn has been completely renovated both inside and out.
On the ground floor, the pub offers a cosy and intimate snug with a decorative fireplace creating a relaxed, warm and welcoming atmosphere. The dining area has undergone a refresh with new wallpapers plush leather and velvet fixed seating enhancing the ‘home’ away from home feel.
The bar area has new timber dowels with brass detail to showcase a contemporary and clean design which will lend itself to transitioning between the day and night. The drink lists will feature local suppliers, whilst delivering an extensive wine list to compliment any food occasion.
The kitchen will be launching a stylish new food menu made up of fresh seasonal dishes, combining authentic pub food such as hearty Sunday Roasts with contemporary classics.
Upstairs, you will find six individually designed en-suite boutique bedrooms, including a generously sized family room, and a dog-friendly room – making it the perfect staycation for those visiting Bath or even midweek business trips.
The Bear Inn is also getting a revamped beer garden, perfect for soaking up the springtime sun, and is set to host a whole range of community events and activities – including pub quizzes, over the next 12 months
The team cannot wait to welcome visitors and locals to the new and improved Bear Inn.
