In exciting news, our People and Food Teams have joined forces to host an event launching Metropolitan Pub Company’s Level 2 and Level 3 Chef Apprenticeships at the Kings Stores in Whitechapel.
A group of thirteen young aspiring professional chefs were given a breakdown of how our apprenticeship scheme works and were treated to a butchery masterclass by Sam Maloney from Taste Tradition, who created a show-stopping stuffed porchetta.
Our bespoke apprenticeship courses offer masterclasses in fish preparation; meat, offal and poultry butchery; bread and pastry baking; as well as mock culinary challenges.
