Sunday 19th October Charley Macaulay and her band – Doors from 7pm
Soul girl Charley Macaulay is no stranger to the music industry, having forged an enviable career at an early age. Playing ‘real music for real people’, she won a national competition (Live and Unsigned 2009) when she was just 16 years old, has self-financed the release of her debut EP, supported acts including Anastacia, Will Young, Omar, DJ Fresh and Ruby Turner, and signed a three-album record deal with Acid Jazz Records. A personal highlight was performing at Mama Stones in 2012, to a packed crowd which included her idol Joss Stone.
Charley signed her first record contract in April 2013, when her mature and soulful voice wowed Radio 6 DJ and Acid Jazz Records founder Eddie Piller, who has previously launched the careers of Jamiroquai, The Brand New Heavies and The James Taylor Quartet among others. Acid Jazz offered Charley a three-album deal and snapped up her signature. Charley’s first single, LoveSick, was released in January 2014 following the release of her debut album ‘All I Know’ in October 2013.
Last summer Charley played at the year’s most prestigious festivals including the Isle of Wight, Bestival and Blissfields, as well as performing everywhere from London to Glasgow.
Saturday 25th October features Scout Killers from 9pm
Scout Killers are a five piece alternative/rock/indie band that formed in late 2009 in the Bath and Bristol area. The band draws its influence from such artists as Rage Against the Machine, Queens of the Stone Age, Pearl Jam and Red Hot Chili Peppers. It’s clear to see from their powerful live sets that they hold viscerally expressive vocals, atmospheric and foreboding guitar swells and shadowy rhythmic undertones high on their priorities when it comes to songwriting.
After a successful tour following the release of their EP “We Cage the Storm”, and a well received music video for the single version of “The Waves”, it was time for the band to head to the recording studio. One bloody, sweaty, tear-filled year later, Scout Killers re-emerged.
Now, with their debut album released, and the music video for the album’s flagship song “No Reason” having been met with such a positive and welcoming reception from fans and critics alike, it’s no wonder that Scout Killers are being described as having a “very promising horizon ahead of them.”

Support by Rasha Jay
Rasha Jay has always been a singer-songwriter. From performing in musical theatre around the U.S to collaborating with recording artists and producers in the studio for many years, this Maryland native is excited to share her gritty, honest songs.
“Writing my music takes away all the boundaries. There is no casting notice to try to fit into. I can just write and get lost. Plus, I missed the studio and creating sounds.”
Shifting her focus solely on her songwriting in 2013 unleashed new songs about space and time, unrequited love, and honest abandon of the rules of attraction.
