About The Prince Bonaparte
The Prince Bonaparte re-opens on 4th October after a stylish, Art Deco inspired refurbishment. Whether you would prefer a pint at the 1920s style steel bar, or to get cosy with a glass of wine in one of the lavish new booths, you will find the Prince Bonaparte is an elegant, comfortable pub that’s perfect for drinking, dining, chatting or simply watching the world go by. We welcome children and dogs.
This is a listed 19th century public house with a huge wealth of history, and it’s only a 5 minute walk from the largest antique market in the world, Portobello.
We are also fortunate to have a small outside seating area at the front of the pub to cater for those hot days
Just a 10 minute walk from either Notting Hill or Bayswater tube.
With a custom made Rebata charcoal grill, the menu takes inspiration from locally sources meats and freshly caught fish. This Japanese style of grilling is about achieving sublime flavours through humble means. The lunch and dinner menus offer a fresh and seasonal produce, alongside a daily fish special, all carefully selected by Head Chef, Sam James. Sunday’s big feature will be spit roasted whole joints of meat to have the best Sunday roast in the area. We are able to cater for large parties, including the infamous Christmas sit down office parties.
We have 4 hand pulls featuring our local favourite ales and cider, all served up in a good, old fashioned tankard. Our diverse wine list features both Old and New World delights, including organic and biodynamic wines, all carefully selected to complement our food or even just drink on their own. Not to mention our 3 tier back bar of spirit delights, boasting over 15 whiskies. Why not even try some of our local sourced gins, Butler’s and Sipsmith’s, both distilled in London. Or if you are feeling really adventurous, we have a small cocktail list with the likes of our own oak barrelled rye whiskey perfect for an old fashioned.
