About The Anglesea Arms
The Anglesea Arms is found on Selwood Terrace in South Kensington, where Charles Dickens once resided at no. 11. The site was originally a market garden and nursery dating back to 1712. A beautiful traditional pub that feels older than it looks with warranted reputation for its excellent food and drink offering…
There is a large terrace out the front of the pub, and a few tables down the side of the pub, where you can eat from both menus and enjoy the sun (if there is any).
We are very happy for people to bring in dogs to the pub, but in our restaurant we run on a strict no dog policy.
All our food is prepared and cooked on site in our (too small!) kitchen. We like to straddle the line between offering pub classics done (really) well and exciting new seasonal dishes which change frequently. On Sundays normally offer a choice of two beautifully prepared roasts with rare rump of beef and Yorkshire pudding ever present
We also offer a regularly changing bar snack menu – with our famous mini sausages a mainstay!!
The Anglesea Arms has always prided itself on the high quality of ale sold across our beautiful, original, 6 hand pumps… this has not, and will not, change! Along with staple regulars such as our house ale, GK IPA and Adnams Broadside – we love to rotate our selection to offer mostly (but not exclusively) local beers of varying abv’s and flavours! Pop in to have a taste or call ahead to find out what is currently on!
Famous, also for our pimms in summer we are also looking to expand our spirit range with many exciting new drinks being introduced every month… if you like gin then you’ll love the AA – in fact, if you love any kind of a drink, the AA is the place for you!!
