About The Anglesea Arms
The Anglesea Arms is found on Selwood Terrace in South Kensington, where Charles Dickens once resided at no. 11. The site was originally a market garden and nursery dating back to 1712. A beautiful traditional pub that feels older than it looks with warranted reputation for its excellent food and drink offering…
There is a large terrace out the front of the pub, and a few tables down the side of the pub, where you can eat from both menus and enjoy the sun (if there is any).
We are very happy for people to bring in dogs to the pub, but in our restaurant we run on a strict no dog policy.
All our food is freshly prepared and cooked on site in our kitchen. We like to straddle the line between offering pub classics done really well and exciting new seasonal dishes which change frequently! We offer 3 roasts every Sunday, all with Yorkshire pudding! The “Daddy Roast” option of having all three on your plate was so popular last Father’s Day we have decided to make it a weekly staple so come and try it out – but book early to avoid disappointment.
Our new menu is now up and running and people have been loving it. So give us a call or send us an email to book a table in our revamped Dining Room.
This is what we are really known and loved for – our great range of 6 ever changing hand pull cask ales are a real feature of the pub and have had people returning for many a decade! With GK IPA a mainstay, surrounded by local (and the occasional far travelled) beer of varying styles and strengths, our selection puts everyone else’s to shame. Accompany this with a deep and exciting wine list, a huge selection of whisk(e)ys, gins, rums, vodkas and aperi & digestifs, as well as an oft changing selection of draught and bottled lagers and ciders and there’s something on offer for any and every one!
