About Queen Adelaide
Since its refurbishment in December 2008 The Adelaide has been converted into a modern ‘gastro’ pub, complete with open kitchen and dining room to the rear where an impressive feature chandelier sets the tone and is accentuated by wood panelling, a domed fire place and retro wallpaper.
The winter season brings such delights as Venison Haunch & Barbary duck breast to our menu.
Seasonal real ales such as Fireside, Harveys, Greene King IPA, St Austell’s, Trumans, Itchen Valley, Windsor & Eton & Sharps are all on rotation.
With additions to our expansive wine list there is something for everyone. With a new Framingham estate, Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand and a Brookford estate Shiraz to name a couple of the new entries.

Our new quiz night is getting busier & more competitive; we recommend you book your table for 8pm every fortnight Monday. It costs just £2 per person to enter & you could win yourself £30 bar tab as well as plenty of free drink questions, let’s get quizzical.
